[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day…“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the GOD OF ALL COMFORT, WHO COMFORTS US IN ALL OUR TROUBLES, so that WE CAN COMFORT THOSE IN ANY TROUBLE with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” (2 Corin. 1:3-4)
[Comforting or conveying reassurance and wellbeing to one another is a powerful ministry. Our Abba Father who is the ‘God of all comfort’ desires for us to minister ‘comfort’ to one another!]
“If we are distressed, it is for YOUR COMFORT AND SALVATION; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which PRODUCES IN YOU PATIENT ENDURANCE of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so ALSO YOU SHARE IN OUR COMFORT.” (2 Corin. 1:6-7)
[This word ‘comfort’ occurs eight times in these four verses indicating that this is very important. The devil along with all the forces of darkness, do not want us to have reassurance and wellbeing. Paul states that this comfort produces ‘PATIENT ENDURANCE’ which allows us to administer this ‘comfort’ to others!]
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, and I WILL DWELL in the house of the LORD FOREVER.” (Psa. 23:6)
SURELY GOD’S GOODNESS AND LOVE WILL FOLLOW US ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES, AND WE WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER!
