My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate; whom I love and pray for every day: A question was asked of Paul about eating food that was offered to idols, Paul replied, “…food does not bring us near to God…Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak…this weak brother or sister, for whom Christ died, is destroyed by your knowledge. WHEN YOU SIN AGAINST THEM IN THIS WAY…YOU SIN AGAINST CHRIST. Therefore, if what I eat causes my brother or sister to fall into sin, I will never eat meat again, SO THAT I WILL NOT CAUSE THEM TO FALL.” (1 Corin. 8:8-13)
Paul was demonstrating the loving care we must have for one another so, we do not cause an offence because when we offend someone, we offend Jesus Christ our Lord who loved them and gave His life for them…
