In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. IN YOUR STRENGTH YOU WILL GUIDE THEM TO YOUR HOLY DWELLING.” (Exo. 15:11-13)
The question is, where is God’s holy dwelling? First of all remember God is omnipresent, He is everywhere at all times! How does He do that? Because He is God, everything that exists does so because of Him…
This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool…” (Isa. 66:1)
Somehow that seems a bit impersonal doesn’t it? Well, when Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice, things changed as far as our relationship with God. Now, “…you are the temple of the living God, as God has said, “I WILL DWELL (live) IN THEM and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” (2 Corin. 6:16)
But, just to assure us of God’s constant presence, the palmist wrote: “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, YOUR RIGHT HAND WILL HOLD ME FAST.” (Psa. 139:7-10)
