My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “…the one who plants is not important. The one who waters is not important. IT IS GOD WHO MAKES THINGS GROW. HE IS THE ONE WHO IS IMPORTANT.” (1 Corin. 3:7-9)
When the emphasis is on how good the building looks, how good the automobile looks how good the airplane looks and how great the preacher looks, something is missing, why? Because all the emphasis and all the glory should be on our Lord God Almighty and on Jesus Christ our Lord! Why? “CHRIST is the exact likeness of God, who can’t be seen. He is first, and He is over all of creation. All things were created by Him. He created everything in heaven and on earth. He created everything that can be seen and everything that can’t be seen. He created kings, powers, rulers and authorities. EVERYTHING WAS CREATED BY HIM (Jesus) AND FOR HIM.” (Col. 1:15-16)
So, what should we do?
“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!” (Psa. 95:6) “If you speak, you should do it like one speaking God’s very words. If you serve, you should do it with the strength God provides. Then in all things God will be praised through Jesus Christ…” (1 Pet. 4:11)
GIVE HIM THE GLORY AND THE POWER FOR EVER AND EVER. AMEN.
