My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “This is what the LORD says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut…” (Isa. 45:1)
In one of the most amazing prophecies of the Bible, Isaiah prophesies that a pagan, King Cyrus, who God used, would make a decree to free the Jews. One hundred fifty years before Cyrus was born. Cyrus restored the temple treasures to Jerusalem and allowed building expenses to be paid from the royal treasury. Is there anything that our Abba Father cannot do? “…NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD.” (Luke 1:37)
So, what do you need to do the will of God?
“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep (Jesus) through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, EQUIP YOU IN EVERY GOOD THING TO DO HIS WILL, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Heb. 13:20-21) Jesus…said, “With man this is impossible, but WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.” (Matt. 19:26)
What do we have to do to receive what we need from God? “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that YOUR JOY MAY BE MADE FULL.” (John 16:24)
THE LORD WANTS US TO BE FULL OF JOY AS WE DO HIS WILL…
