My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how unfathomable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord…FOR FROM HIM AND THROUGH HIM AND TO HIM ARE ALL THINGS. TO HIM BE GLORY FOREVER. AMEN.” (Rom 11:33-36)
Paul is not using the word “oh” to introduce something he had forgotten to say as we would when we say, “Oh, I almost forgot.” He is using this word “Oh” to proclaim loudly and clearly the depth of the riches of God’s wisdom and knowledge. Our God is a great God. We see his glory in the beauty of his creation and say, “OH, what an absolutely awesome God we have.”
Daniel said: “BLESSED BE THE NAME OF GOD FOREVER AND EVER, to whom belong wisdom and might…He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding; HE REVEALS DEEP AND HIDDEN THINGS; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.” (Dan 2:20-22)
God reveals His will to us so we may serve Him in a manner that is pleasing to Him…
