My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “…all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God…” (Rom 3:23) We must acknowledge (confess) that we are a sinner and, “…declare with your mouth, “JESUS IS LORD,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, YOU WILL BE SAVED. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, for “EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED (by faith)…FAITH COMES FROM HEARING THE MESSAGE. And the message that is heard is the word of Christ.” (Rom 10:9-13, 17)
The word of God is life, it is quick and it is powerful. It is truth, it corrects, it enlightens, it heals, it delivers and it brings visible results. It does not return without accomplishing that which it was sent to do (Isaiah 55:11). So, if the word says “confess, declare and believe” and you will be saved, then when you confess, “I am a sinner” declare out of your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and you “believe it in your heart”, you will be saved…
Just think about, the most wonderful, awesome and priceless experience we could ever have comes by faith, confessing, declaring and believing!
ETERNAL LIFE BY CONFESSING, DECLARING AND BELIEVING…
