07-27-19 FaithLine JUST TELL ME HAPPY THINGS…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: King Ahab was a very evil and bad king, Jehoshaphat was a very good and obedient to God, king. The two kings we about to go into battle so, Ahab called for his 400 self-appointed prophets and they said all kinds of good things but Jehoshaphat knew they were not prophets of the Lord so, he said, “Is there not still A PROPHET OF THE LORD here, that we may inquire of Him?” So Ahab said, “There is still one man, by whom we may inquire of the LORD; but I hate him, because HE NEVER PROPHESIES GOOD CONCERNING ME, but always evil (he prophecies evil because Ahab is evil). He is Micaiah the son of Imla.” And Jehoshaphat said, “LET NOT THE KING SAY SUCH THINGS! (2 Chron. 18:6-7)

Then Micaiah said, “I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd…” (2 Chron. 18:16) So, during the battle, “…a certain man drew a bow at random, and struck king Ahab between the joints of his armor…” (2 Chron. 18:33) of course king Ahab died. OK, how does this apply to us, well, “…whatever things were written before were WRITTEN FOR OUR LEARNING…” (Rom. 15:4)

WE HAVE LEARNED THAT IT IS VERY SERIOUS BUSINESS TO BE DISOBEDIENT TO GOD(Heb. 10:31)

FaithLine, the bible says: “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” (Hebrews 10:31)
