The greatest blessing God has given to us as believers is the wonderful promise of eternal life. We already know from the beginning of this chapter that we are in a “no condemnation” status before God. That is repeated to us in verse 34 when the question is asked, “Who then is the one who condemns?” There is no higher court than Christ or God! Again we are told “nothing can separate us from the love of God” which is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord. So, when we are struggling, the Lord presents Himself to us so He can work for our good.
