My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: This is David’s charge to Israel: “Now therefore, in the sight of all Israel…BE CAREFUL TO SEEK OUT ALL THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, that you may possess this good land, and leave it as an inheritance for your children after you forever…know the God of your father, and SERVE HIM WITH A LOYAL HEART AND WITH A WILLING MIND; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. IF YOU SEEK HIM, HE WILL BE FOUND BY YOU; BUT IF YOU FORSAKE HIM, HE WILL CAST YOU OFF FOREVER.” (1 Chron. 28:8-9)
How important is it for us to seek the Lord? Well David informs us here that if we forsake the Lord He will cast us off forever! So, we must be very careful to seek and obey the Lord. Knowing that if we seek Him He will be found. The Lord is looking for people that will be, LOYAL TO HIM AND WILLING TO FOLLOW HIM…
