My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: One reason that this pandemic global crisis is so challenging is that, for many of us, we have never experienced anything like it. Several have been through the 9-11 crisis. Numerous of us were affected deeply by the housing market crash in 2008. But, for a countless number of us, we have never experienced restrictions and hindrances like those being imposed on us by this unseen enemy, COVID-19.
“…we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us RUN WITH ENDURANCE the race that is set before us, LOOKING UNTO JESUS, the author and finisher of our faith, who for THE JOY that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who ENDURED SUCH HOSTILITY from sinners against Himself, lest you become WEARY AND DISCOURAGED in your souls.” (Heb. 12:1-3) We must look with eager anticipation for THE GREAT JOY OF THE LORD that is set before us. And be ready to share that Joy!!!
