My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “When the men came to Jesus, they said, “John the Baptist sent us to you to ask, ‘ARE YOU THE ONE WHO IS TO COME, or should we expect someone else?'” At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind. So, he replied to the messengers, “Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: THE BLIND RECEIVE SIGHT, THE LAME WALK, THOSE WHO HAVE LEPROSY ARE CLEANSED, THE DEAF HEAR, THE DEAD ARE RAISED, AND THE GOOD NEWS IS PROCLAIMED TO THE POOR.” (Luke 7:20-22)
The disciples of John the Baptist wanted to make sure they had found the messiah so, they observed and took note of the miracles taking place. Jesus then instructed them to go to John and let him know what miraculous things they had observed.
Isaiah prophesied: “Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, “BE STRONG, DO NOT FEAR; YOUR GOD [has] COME” …Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy.” (Isaiah 35:3-6)
“Believe me…or at least BELIEVE ON THE EVIDENCE OF THE WORKS THEMSELVES. Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they WILL DO EVEN GREATER THINGS than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:11-12)
THE EVIDENCE CLEARLY PROVES THAT THIS IS JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD…
