06-17-19 FaithLine COVERED BY THE OIL AND THE DEW…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine:Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to DWELL TOGETHER IN UNITY! It is like the precious OIL upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the DEW of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the LORD commanded the blessingLife forevermore. (Psa. 133:1-3)

Hermon is the loftiest peak, 9,232 feet above sea level in Israel, and from its snowy cap, when all the surrounding country is parched, the refreshing dew descends, as the snow melts, upon the mountains of Zion; and this is one of the figures used by the Holy Spirit to illustrate the beauty and pleasantness of brethren dwelling together in unity. How truly amazing this unity is! They are figures used to set forth the divine idea of unity among brethren. But how is the unity to be promoted? By living sufficiently near to Christ, the Son of God to catch the fragrant anointing OIL as it runs down from Him — to be living so near Christ, the Son of Man in His glory as the refreshing DEW of His grace may drop upon our souls, rendering us fragrant and fruitful in His presence. For as the body (of Christ) is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, ARE ONE BODY, SO ALSO IS CHRISTNow YOU ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST, and members individually. (1 Corin. 12:12, 27)

NOW WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST…

FaithLine, the bible says:  “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to DWELL TOGETHER IN UNITY…”
