[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day…Jesus made a promise to us that:] “…EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE for one who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
[Do we believe, what is our proof?]
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me WILL DO THE WORKS I HAVE BEEN DOING, and they WILL do EVEN GREATER THINGS than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12)
[The word “believe” is from the Greek word “pist-yoo’-o” which means: to have faith, commit (to trust), or put in trust with. So, what is our problem? Maybe it it’s unbelief? Like the father whose son was blind!]
“Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered…But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE FOR ONE WHO BELIEVES.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; HELP ME OVERCOME MY UNBELIEF!” (Mark 9:21-24)
[Should we be praying this prayer? Not that we don’t believe that these wonderful miracles are possible, but CAN I DO BE USED OF GOD to do THESE WONDERFUL MIRACLES?]
“…Jesus… said “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently AND CAME OUT. The boy looked so much like a corpse…But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.” (Mark 9:25-27)
[Jesus disciples asked Him why they could not do this.]
“And He replied to them, “This kind cannot come out by anything but PRAYER AND FASTING.” (Mark 9:29)
[God was speaking to Isaiah about fasting, He said:]
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6)
[In other words, Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika and Kaleigh, we need to rid ourselves from the things that are holding us back, like personal unbelief!]
“Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and THE GLORY OF THE LORD WILL BE YOUR REAR GUARD.” (Isaiah 58:8)
[Wow! What glorious results, but that’s not all!]
“Then you will call, and THE LORD WILL ANSWER; you will cry for help, and he WILL say: HERE AM I. “IF YOU DO AWAY WITH the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk…” (Isaiah 58:9)
[But wait, there is more…]
“THE LORD WILL GUIDE YOU ALWAYS; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring WHOSE WATERS NEVER FAIL.” (Isaiah 58:11)
WITH GOD’S HELP WE CAN DO THIS!

THE GLORY OF THE LORD WILL BE OUR REAR GUARD (He will always have our back)!
