My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “Father, GLORIFY YOUR NAME.” A voice came from heaven, saying, “I HAVE BOTH GLORIFIED IT AND WILL GLORIFY IT AGAIN.” The people said “An angel has spoken.” Jesus said, “This voice came for your sake. Now THE RULER OF THIS WORLD WILL BE CAST OUT. And I, if I AM LIFTED UP from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.” (John 12:28-33) When Jesus was lifted up on the cross, God was glorified, in addition and most importantly, the REDEMPTION OF MAN took place, which is the action of REGAINING POSSESSION of something in exchange for payment (Christ’s death on the cross). When Adam and Eve willfully chose to disobey God, “…through one man’s (Adam) offense judgment came to ALL MEN, resulting in condemnation…” (Rom. 5:18)
As a result Satan became the god this world. “…the devil said to Jesus, “All this authority (over this world) I will give You…for this has been DELIVERED TO ME...” (Luke 4:5-6) For I am, “…THE GOD OF THIS WORLD…” (2 Corin. 4:4)
BUT NOW WE ARE REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB OF GOD…
FaithLine, Jesus says: “…if I AM LIFTED UP from the earth, will draw all people to Myself.”
