My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Lazarus was sick, Therefore the sisters sent to Jesus, When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness IS NOT UNTO DEATH, but FOR THE GLORY OF GOD, that the Son of God may BE GLORIFIED through it. Jesus stayed two more days where He was.” (John 11:1-6) When Jesus heard this news, instead of hurrying to Bethany, He stayed where He was, waiting for LAZARUS TO DIE. Remember, Jesus said this sickness “is not unto death.” Is this a contradiction? Jesus said, “I have the 1KEYS of hell and of death.” (Rev. 1:18) 1kleis: denotes power and authority. “Then Jesus said to them plainly, “Lazarus is dead. And I AM GLAD for your sakes…” (John 11:14-15). Jesus has ALL POWER OVER DEATH so from His perspective, Lazarus was not dead. So, when Jesus arrived is Bethany, Lazarus had been dead for four days, but not to Jesus. Jesus said, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe YOU WOULD SEE THE GLORY OF GOD?” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot …Jesus said to them, “LOOSE HIM, AND LET HIM GO.” (John 11:40-44)
AIN’T NO GRAVE GONNA HOLD THIS BODY DOWN…
