05-23-19 Loved One’s Devotion SHALL I CONTINUE IN SIN?

My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: CERTAINLY NOT! How shall we WHO DIED TO SIN live any longer in it?(Rom. 6:2) Look at the certainty Paul speaks with. He was asked this question by the church at Rome who believed that God’s grace could be proved by our continuing to sin and receive forgiveness because of Christs mercy! So, what does Paul mean that we “died to sin? “…do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus WERE BAPTIZED INTO HIS DEATH? Therefore we were buried with Him THROUGH BAPTISM INTO DEATH, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so WE ALSO SHOULD WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE. knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that THE BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DONE AWAY WITH, that WE SHOULD NO LONGER BE SLAVES OF SIN. For he who has died has been FREED FROM SIN. (Rom. 6:3-8)  This, of course speaking of the second work of grace, sanctification which means to make holy; set apart as sacred; consecrate, purify to be free from sin.

On May 17th 1972 I was gloriously saved and on the 19th I attended my first church service in the Seattle church. Because I was addicted to alcohol and drugs, the Lord inspired me to be “set free” from that life style. I accepted His deliverance and went home that evening sanctified and dumped all drugs and alcohol down the toilet. 47 years – no drugs, no alcohol…Praise God, I’m…

LIVING A SANCTIFIED LIFE!

Notice: [We must understand that the bible says:] “…our old man was crucified with Him, that THE BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DONE AWAY WITH. !!!That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin…
