05-08-19 FaithLine A DESPERATE NEED…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “…there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick…he said, “Sir, come down before my child dies!” Jesus said, GO, YOUR SON LIVES.” So the man believed, and went his way. His servants met him, saying, “YOUR SON LIVES!” Then he inquired of the hour when he got better. And they said, “Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.” So the father knew that IT WAS AT THE SAME HOUR JESUS SAID TO HIM, YOUR SON LIVES.” And he believed, and his whole household.(John 4:46-53)

Unfortunately it usually takes A DESPERATE NEED for many to come to the Lord.  The report that Jesus had healed people in Jerusalem must have reached this man’s ears. Learning that Jesus had returned to Galilee, the man IMMEDIATELY SOUGHT JESUS and urged him to heal his son, who was dangerously ill. He did not wrap himself in pride nor did he allow what others might say keep him from Jesus. He swallowed his pride and confessed his need in the face of all who ridiculed, and HE WENT TO JESUS.

WE MUST BRING OUR DESPERATE NEEDS TO THE LORD…

FaithLine, the bible says:  Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
