My awesome, wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day: “If anyone says, “I love God,” and HATES HIS BROTHER, HE IS A LIAR; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen CANNOT LOVE GOD whom he has not seen.” (1 John 4:20)
This is the same John who taught us that: “…God so loved the world, that HE GAVE his only Son…” (John 3:16) John knows about God’s love and mentions it often in his writings. The scriptures teach us that: “…God is love.” (1 John 4:8)
So, it makes sense if we hate someone, but we say we love God, it cannot be…
“EVERYONE WHO HATES HIS BROTHER IS A MURDERER, and you know that no murderer HAS ETERNAL LIFE ABIDING IN HIM.” (1 John 3:15)
It’s like this; love is a spiritual thing from God and hate is a spiritual thing from the devil! Both cannot be in us at the same time. So…
REPENT OF THAT HATE AND BE CONVERTED, FILLED WITH THE LOVE OF GOD…
