04-22-19 FaithLine Devotion CHRIST HAS INDEED BEEN RAISED FROM THE DEAD…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ’s victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught during His three-year ministry. If He had not risen from the dead, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that HE REALLY WAS THE SON OF GOD AND THAT HE HAD CONQUERED DEATH ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Because,  If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about GodBut He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raisedthen Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. But CHRIST HAS INDEED BEEN RAISED FROM THE DEAD, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.(1 Corin. 15:13-20)

So, Paul goes on to tell us the very great news… Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but WE WILL ALL BE CHANGED— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and WE WILL BE CHANGED.(1 Corin. 15:51-52)

IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE

FaithLine, the bible says: “We will not all sleep, but WE WILL ALL BE CHANGED…”
