My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Mary, sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me.” Jesus said, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But ONE THING IS NEEDED, and MARY HAS CHOSEN THAT GOOD PART.” (Luke 10:39-42) What does Jesus mean by this? “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I WILL GIVE YOU REST. Take My yoke upon you and LEARN FROM ME.” (Matt. 11:28-29) Just what is that “one thing” that is needed? Jesus said, LEARN FROM ME. We must realize, this learning process is a LIFETIME EFFORT!!!
“Eye has not seen, or ear heard,” neither has it entered into the heart of man, “the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corin. 2:9) God’s word is spiritual, so, it can only learned through THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
“God has revealed them to us BY HIS SPIRIT; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God. NO ONE KNOWS THE THINGS OF GOD EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF GOD…the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED (determined).” (1 Corin. 2:10-11, 14)
