My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “Then the seventy returned saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” Jesus said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I GIVE YOU THE AUTHORITY to trample on serpents and scorpions, and OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather REJOICE BECAUSE YOUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.” (Luke 10:17-20) The fact that we – as blood-washed believers – have authority over devils and demons should be a reality to us. It should not be something we take lightly or for granted, but something that is an established fact in our lives and in our walk and in our talk. We should meditate on the scriptures that are the source of our authority in Jesus Christ. We shouldn’t rejoice that demons are subject to us – but rejoice that we are washed in the blood of Jesus; that we are saved; that our name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life!
