My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: Let’s focus our mind and heart on God with these verses and let our praise go up. Jesus said we are to worship in Spirit and truth, and these verses will help us do that! These Scripture will remind us of how great God is and how He is worthy of ALL OUR PRAISE. “LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory in the heavens. Through the PRAISE OF CHILDREN AND INFANTS you have ESTABLISHED A STRONGHOLD against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.” (Psa. 8:1-2) Yes, there is nothing like praising the Lord in whatever circumstances we’re going through. “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart TRUSTS IN HIM, and He helps me. My heart LEAPS FOR JOY, and with MY SONG I praise Him.” (Psa. 28:7) When we proclaim the word, it’s like singing a song, we are speaking truth, not just truth but “LIVING TRUTH”
“I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving…The poor will see and be glad— you who seek God, may your hearts live!” (Psa. 69:30-32) Our praise should not only please God, it should also produce joy and gladness in the streets AMONG THE POOR! Why? Because praise invites us to not only applaud God for what He does, but to also JOIN HIM IN PARTNERSHIP AS HE DOES IT. God’s generosity, which evokes our praise, should stir our generosity, which in turn blesses others and leads them to praise God! “I am suffering and in pain. Rescue me, O God, by your saving power.” (Psa. 69:29) Please empower and strengthen us as we commit ourselves to bless, serve, and encourage others for your glory.” (Psa. 69:34-35)
