My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: A sinner woman stood at Jesus feet weeping; and washing His feet…when the Pharisee saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know this woman was a sinner. ”Jesus turned to the woman and said to the Pharisee, “Do you see this woman? you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet…You did not anoint My head, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Therefore, her sins, WHICH ARE MANY, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.” Then He said to her, “YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN.” (Luke 7:43-48)
Somehow this woman knew who Jesus was, and was doing all she could to show her gratitude toward Him. Those of us who have been forgiven of our sins, because of the great sacrifice Jesus willing made for us, need to take a moment and reconsider how much this means to us and how it has impacted our lives!!!
