My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: The Lord spoke this to the Israelites in about 610 B.C. , “The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be HIS PEOPLE, his TREASURED POSSESSION. The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because THE LORD LOVES YOU, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand…” (Deut. 7:6-8) When we a look at all these promises to the Jewish people, we may wonder about us as gentiles? “…there is NO DIFFERENCE between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is LORD OF ALL and richly blesses all who call on Him…” (Rom. 10:12) What about this wall of separation between Jew and gentile? “…now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the BLOOD OF CHRIST. For He Himself is our peace, who has made both ONE, and has broken down the middle wall of separation…” (Eph. 2:13-14) I thought the bible says we are strangers and foreigners… ”…through Jesus we both have access BY ONE SPIRIT TO THE FATHER. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God…built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In Him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a HOLY TEMPLE in the Lord. And in Him you too are being BUILT TOGETHER to become a dwelling in which GOD LIVES BY HIS SPIRIT.” (Eph. 2:18-22)
So, what does this make us? “Now you are THE BODY OF CHRIST, and each one MEMBERS INDIVIDUALLY.” (1 Corin. 12:27)
