YOU SHALL:
- teach them diligently to your children…
- talk of them when you sit in your house…
- when you walk by the way…
- when you lie down…
- when you rise up…
- bind them as a sign on your hand…
- bind them on your foreheads…
- write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates… (Deut. 6:6-9)
It is very obvious that God’s will is for us to CONTINUALLY PRESENT HIS WORD to our families. Consider this thought: The prefrontal cortex handles our behavior! The Frontal lobe is that part of the brain, Reasoning and moral judgment is carried out there. Just, touch your forehead. Just a fraction of an inch beyond your fingertips is the prefrontal cortex. God told us to keep His word there. Keeping His word there keeps us from acting on worldly desires and evil. If we keep GOD’S WORD in our prefrontal cortex, IT WILL HELP US TO NOT SIN AGAINST GOD. “How can we cleanse our way? By LIVING ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands. Your word I have HIDDEN in my heart (prefrontal cortex), That I might not sin against You.” (Psalms 119:9-11)
