[My awesome, loving and wonderful Grandchildren, and Annika and Kaleigh, whom I love and pray for every day…this is the Psalm of Praise; or rather of thanksgiving. This is the only psalm bearing this precise title. It is all filled with grateful adoration, and has for this reason been a great favorite for the people of God ever since it was written. Nothing can be more inspirational this side heaven than the blessedness of this noble psalm giving praise to our awesome Abba Father!]
“Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that THE LORD IS GOD. IT IS HE WHO MADE US, AND WE ARE HIS; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. FOR THE LORD IS GOOD AND HIS LOVE ENDURES FOREVER; HIS FAITHFULNESS continues through all generations.” (Psa. 100:1-5)
[Think about these beautiful words describing our worship to the one who created us for himself, WE ARE HIS; He died to save us, and NOW LIVES to insure our entering into our eternal home!]
“I will sing of your love and justice; to you, LORD, I will sing praise. I WILL BE CAREFUL TO LEAD A BLAMELESS LIFE— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart.” (Psa. 101:1-2)
[Please Abba Father, enable us to live in a manner that greatly pleases you!]
“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, SO GREAT IS HIS LOVE FOR THOSE WHO FEAR HIM; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he REMOVED our transgressions from us. As a father, has compassion on his children, so THE LORD HAS COMPASSION ON THOSE WHO FEAR HIM; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.” (Psa. 103:11-14)
[Thank you Father that you know how frail that we really are, we often disappoint you; yet you love us and encourage our hearts, by your Holy Spirit, to remain faithful to you!]
“…FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING, the LORD’s love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children– with those who keep his covenant and remember to obey his precepts [teachings].” (Psa. 103:17-18)
