My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: The congregation in the wilderness were out of water so, “THE LORD spoke to MOSES, Take the rod; and gather the congregation together. SPEAK TO THE ROCK before their eyes, and it will yield its water…So Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He COMMANDED HIM. Then Moses lifted his hand and STRUCK THE ROCK TWICE with his rod; and water came out abundantly…” (Num. 20:8-9, 11) How important is it for us to follow EXACTLY what the Lord commands us? EXTREMELY important, “…be DOERS of the word, and NOT HEARERS only, DECEIVING YOURSELVES.” (James 1:22) Moses did not become a doer of the word because HE DID NOT DO THE WILL OF GOD, and as a result, “…the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore YOU SHALL NOT BRING THIS ASSEMBLY into the land which I have given them.” (Num. 20:8-9, 11-12) Now if you are one who say, “why was this such a big deal?” “…do not be unwise, but UNDERSTAND what THE WILL OF THE LORD is.” (Eph. 5:17)
FOR YOU HAVE NEED OF ENDURANCE, SO THAT AFTER YOU HAVE DONE THE WILL OF GOD, YOU MAY RECEIVE THE PROMISE…(Heb. 10:36)
FaithLine, the bible says: “…be DOERS of the word, and NOT HEARERS only…”
