SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Col. 3:1-3)
There are many unholy temptations that try to fill our thoughts, but remember we control what goes on in our minds…
When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” (Col. 3:4-5)
Paul tells us in 1st Corinthians 2:16 that: “…we have the mind of Christ.”
YOU ARE GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE. You are holy and dearly loved. So, put on tender mercy and kindness as if they were your clothes. Don’t be proud. Be gentle and patient…FORGIVE, just as the Lord forgave you.” (Col. 3:12-13)
AS GOD’S CHOSEN PEOPLE WE NEED TO PUT ON THE MIND OF CHRIST…
