My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: If you were raised with Christ, PURSUE THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST IS, sitting at the right hand of God. SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS ON THE EARTH. For you died, and your life is HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore PUT TO DEATH your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” It is of the utmost importance for us to be pursuing the things above, what does that mean? “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, SO WALK IN HIM, ROOTED and BUILT UP in Him and ESTABLISHED IN THE FAITH, as you have been taught, ABOUNDING in it with thanksgiving.” (Col. 2:1-7) As we go through this process we can undress some things out of our lives…“…now you yourselves are to PUT OFF ALL THESE: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have PUT ON THE NEW MAN who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him…above all these things PUT ON LOVE, WHICH IS THE BOND OF PERFECTION.” (Col. 3:8-10, 14)
BEING LIKE CHRIST MEANS DOING WHAT CHRIST DID…
FaithLine, the bible says: “…PUT ON THE NEW MAN who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of JESUS…”
