My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: God created Adam in His image and regularly met with him, but soon Adam and Eve LISTENED TO THE DEVIL, disobeyed God and sinned against Him. When God came down to walk with them THEY HID. “…the LORD God called to Adam, “WHERE ARE YOU? Adam answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid so I hid.” (Gen. 3:9-10) What God was asking Adam is, where are you in your RELATIONSHIP WITH ME? Adam was afraid because of godly sorrow, he sinned against God and was not ready to repent. Since Adam did not repent, “…the LORD God banished Adam from the Garden of Eden…He drove the man out and placed cherubim and a flaming sword to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Gen. 3:23-24) Adam and Eve had two children Cain and Abel. Cain became jealous and killed Abel The question could be asked again “WHERE ARE YOU?” another son Seth was born, “Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. At that time people began to CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD.” (Gen. 4:26)
Job was a righteous man until the devil could stand it no longer. He told God, “Sure, he serves you. Look how you have protected him. Remove your hand of protection and see what will happen.” God did. Then calamities upon calamities happened to Job, but he remained FIRM IN HIS FAITH. He declared, “Though He slay me, yet WILL I TRUST HIM.” (Job 13:15) After the testing was over, Job was a greater man both physically and spiritually than before.
When we are “right” with the Lord, He says, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD,
THOUGHTS OF PEACE AND NOT OF EVIL, TO GIVE YOU A FUTURE AND A HOPE…(Jer. 29:11)
Notice: […We must understand that the bible says:] “Though He slay me, yet WILL I TRUST HIM.” !!!] That’s for you: Stephanie, Ethan, Camden, Olivia, Aidan, Landon, Kinsley, Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin…
