My dear brothers and sisters, dedicating your lives to singing for Jesus: As we have most affectionately received the doctrine of Christ; and confess to be partakers of divine faith in Him, that promises spiritual and eternal things; let us SEEK THE THINGS ABOVE and look to be ready for the pleasure that comes along with them.
“Therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, KEEP SEEKING THE THINGS ABOVE, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.” (Col. 3:1) Be very sincere for the heavenly and eternal things, just as you have been for things that are earthly and perishing.
“Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and YOUR LIFE IS HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD.” (Col. 3:2, 3) Remember what you have heard, and PRACTICE it each day; and let all your obedience be from your heart…
“My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for THEY WILL PROLONG YOUR LIFE many years and bring you peace and prosperity.” (Pro. 3:1-2)
