02-26-19 FaithLine Devotion EPHPHATHA…

My dear brothers and sisters, of FaithLine: “…they brought to Jesus one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech, and they begged Him to put His hand on him. And JESUS TOOK HIM ASIDE FROM THE MULTITUDE, and put HIS FINGERS IN HIS EARS, and He SPAT AND TOUCHED HIS TONGUE. Then, looking up to heaven, He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “BE OPENED.” IMMEDIATELY his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed, and HE SPOKE PLAINLYthey were ASTONISHED BEYOND MEASURE, saying, “He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.” (Mark 7:32-37)

Notice, Jesus took this man aside from the crowd. Why would He do this? I believe that every time Jesus healed someone it was VERY PERSONAL TO HIM and the method Jesus used here was just what Jesus chose to do, not the “way” that every deaf and mute person should be prayed for. The point here is that “IMMEDIATELYTHIS MAN WAS HEALED!!! When the crowd saw what happened the were ASTONISHED BEYOND MEASURESoon, possibly some of these same people will cry out “crucify Him.”

NO MATTER HOW YOU DO IT JESUS, IT’S ALWAYS AWESOME

FaithLine, the bible says:  “IMMEDIATELY his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was loosed…”
