This woman Mary Magdalene “out of whom had come seven demons.” (Luke 8:2), with a grateful heart, filled with compassion for the Lord, took that which was most valuable to her and poured it out on Jesus for His SOON BURIAL. Maybe God revealed to her the terribly suffering Jesus was facing.
The disciples said “WHY THIS WASTE.” Where was their compassion? Where is our compassion and thankfulness for the Lord, for all He has done for us?
