My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. So anyone who becomes AS HUMBLE as this LITTLE CHILD is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven…” (Matthew 18:2-5) If I’ve learned anything about Christianity, it’s that God wants us to be humble. He calls Himself humble, “Take my yoke upon you and LEARN FROM ME, for I am gentle and HUMBLE IN HEART…” (Matthew 11:29), and calls us to be the same. Paul teaches in his epistles we must be like Christ. John the Apostle says we must walk as He walked. Anyone who reads the Gospels can clearly see that Jesus was THE example of humility. Why is our humility is so important? Because we can only truly see God’s awesome magnificence thru eyes of humility.
“…you must always obey the LORD’s commands LOOK, the highest heavens and the earth and everything in it ALL BELONG TO THE LORD OUR GOD.” (Deut. 10:12-14)
“…You are great, O Lord GOD. For THERE IS NONE LIKE YOU…” (2 Samuel 7:22)
