My awesome, Grandchildren, and Annika, Kaleigh, Kate, Gavin; whom I love and pray for every day: “THE LORD SAW HOW GREAT THE WICKEDNESS OF THE HUMAN RACE HAD BECOME ON THE EARTH, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined WAS CONSISTENTLY AND TOTALLY EVIL. So the LORD WAS SORRY he had ever made them and put them on the earth. It broke his heart. So the LORD said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created…But NOAH FOUND GRACE IN THE EYES OF THE LORD.” (Gen. 6:5-8)
The pharisees were challenging Jesus as to who He claimed He was, Jesus responded: “YOU BELONG TO YOUR FATHER, THE DEVIL, and YOU WANT TO CARRY OUT YOUR FATHER’S DESIRES. HE WAS A MURDERER FROM THE BEGINNING, not holding to the truth, for THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF LIES.” (John 8:44)
These people, in Noah’s time, belonged to their father whom THEY CHOSE TO FOLLOW, the one who fulfilled the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, THE god OF PLEASURE! They chose wickedness over righteousness, godlessness over holiness and disobedience to the Lord God Almighty. Thankfully grace was found and mankind was spared. “Jesus Christ has given us GRACE AND TRUTH.” (John 1:17)
GOD’S AMAZING GRACE WILL OVERCOME ALL WICKEDNESS…
